My classroom is designed to be a space where children feel safe, comfortable, and excited to learn. The Kindness Code is the way that not only I take care of my students, but also how I expect my students to take care of me. Each year, I will create the Kindness Code with my students at the beginning of the school year to see what we believe is important as a class to set as a rule. With this code, we set up the classroom to be a place where we know what is important to each other.
